DATASOURCE
A data integration term designating an information source. For example, each DNAOS resource can have any number of datasource(s), where each datasource refers to a different content information source specifying the required access and process information, for example, typically, it can be a reference to a database with access information and a corresponding SQL, XPath, or XQueryquery. Each resource component and information can be associated with multiple alternate and prioritized datasources.

DEFINITION
A conceptdescription to differentiate it from other concepts.

DENOTATION
The relationship between a name or expression an what it refers to. Also used with "of" to mean the referent of a name or expression. [ISO/IEC 24707:2007(E) inspired].

DESCRIPTION
A standard (business) archetype providing a descriptive representation of a resource (e.g. a sentence). Descriptions are typically modeled with a light blue background.

DIALECT
A concrete instance of a syntax that shares some of the uniform semantics of the syntax. A conforming language, textual, graphical or other. [ISO/IEC 24707:2007(E) inspired].

DISCOUNT
A recursive schedule (e.g. time-based) resource typically used to define and manage discounts and specials.

DISPATCH
A service invocation resource typically part of a batch or scripted jobsequence resource.

DISTRIBUTED
Spread on possibly many systems or locations. Both, process and content can each be distributed.

DKI (DYNAMIC KEY INDICATORS)
Dynamic Key Indicators (DKIs) are context rule calculated qualities.
